This is a picture of San Jose, as seen from "Eagle's Rock" in Alum Rock Park. The photo is a composite of two images that were taken from on top of the rock. On the right hand side of the photo, you can see an orangy-yellow haze where the fog from the ocean meets the smog from the Bay Area commuters.
